Lesson Cancellation

To avoid being charged for missed lesson time, you must notify me in person or by phone. Do not rely on others to pass on the message for you.

For scheduling conflicts, such as for school activities, birthday parties, doctor visits, vacations, or other events that you know about in advance, you must let me know at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson.
For unforseen events, like illness, weather, car break-downs, or the like, please let me know before the lesson is scheduled to begin.
If you have a true emergency, please take care of your family and let me know what has happened as soon as possible within 48 hours of the lesson.

If I need to cancel a lesson, I will let you know as follows:

I will let you know in person or by telephone at least 24 hours in advance of scheduling conflicts.
For unforseen events, like illness, weather, facility closure, or the like, I will call you prior to the lesson and ask the rink to to post a written notice.
If there is an emergency, I will let you know as soon as possible after I've delt with it.
